Gatti’s Restaurant on Finsbury Avenue, in Whitecross Place, close to Liverpool Street Station, has served good traditional Italian food and fine wine for around fifteen years. An increasingly preferred venue among discerning executives, Gatti’s comfortable dining room aims to provide you with speedy service of the tasty dishes prepared by Chef Domingo Morais and his staff.
Our elegant table settings can be arranged to cater for groups of any size, up to the restaurant‘s capacity of about 95.
All dishes are cooked to order, from fresh ingredients, reflected in the regularly changing ‘special menus’; you can eat many times at Gatti’s and always enjoy a new experience.
Your table will be served by attentive Italian staff who understand their native cuisine and know their country’s wines well, so you can be confident in their guidance.
Head chef Domingo Marais has been creating fine food for twenty years. For seven he has been building Gatti’s reputation for excellence coupled with smart service.
He cooks only to order and uses the freshest ingredients. Working closely with his suppliers, fresh fish and meat arrive every day, Domingo creates classic Italian dishes. His range of ‘Chef’s Recommendations’ display his skill in providing clients with new culinary experiences.
Asked to describe his style, Domingo says, “Traditional Italian, simply cooked, but with style and twenty-first century awareness.”

The restaurant accommodates about 95 people. The tables can be grouped to suit the number of your guests, and there are sections of the dining area which can be used for pre-meal meeting and drinks. You may also want to book our very popular private dining room, which can accommodate a maximum of eight people. Its privacy is ideal for small working lunches where important matters need confidentiality and conviviality.
